In 1892, the Wopsononock Resort owners added a bowling alley on the mountain. It was popular as tournaments were held and the local newspapers followed the competitions.

Little else is known about the bowling alley in later years. Newspaper accounts following the Wopsy Hotel fire in 1903 mention every structure that was destroyed, but the bowling alley was described as “the old bowling alley having succumbed years before.”
