Shown here is a Real Photo Postcard image of the Wopsononock Hotel and the narrow-gauge railroad. An RPPC is created in a darkroom and not mass-produced. The date is unknown, but it is after 1891 and before the hotel burned in 1903. The image is rare, as it is the only photo I’ve seen of both the hotel and the train together in over fifty years of collecting.

The locomotive is a 4-4-0 #2 that the Wopsy Railroad purchased early in its brief history.
