A merry-go-round was added to the Wopsononock Resort in 1893. It was destroyed when the hotel burned in a 1903 forest fire. Another merry-go-round was purchased in 1916, during the S. Morris ownership. The three concentric concrete circles that served as the merry-go-round base still sit where so many walked the resort grounds so many years ago.
